At Flatiron School, we’re committed to changing the face of tech and care deeply about creating a diverse workforce in our community. Increased racial and gender diversity can lead to increased revenue for businesses and diverse teams have been shown to be smarter.
We’re proud to be helping to change the face of the workforce and bridging the gender gap. In our latest jobs outcomes report, our online programs are currently at gender parity and the rate for our NYC campus is above the industry standard.
It’s time for a world-wide effort to do more to help close the gender gap in the tech arena — and the first step is changing the narrative. So, we’re excited to invite you to join us and our very special guests SeatGeek, She+ Geeks Out, Women 2.0, TechLadies, Lesbians Who Tech, and other trailblazing women on March 28 at 12 p.m. EST/ 9 a.m. PST.
We’ll be having an exciting discussion on Twitter around how women shape tech — and how you can too — by sharing ideas, inspiration, and powerful feedback with leaders and trailblazers in our community. Learning technical skills is one of the most powerful investments a woman can make. You’ll also play a key role in encouraging other women to grow by participating in the discussion.
We’re excited to partner withSeatGeek to empower women and to reach gender parity in tech by offering the 50/50 Scholarship and $200,000 in scholarship opportunities. Women who apply to Flatiron School’s immersive Software Engineering, Data Science, or UX/UI Design courses are eligible to receive a $3,500 scholarship. You only have until March 31, so apply today to start your tech journey!
