It’s not rocket science, it’s data science. Flatiron School is proud to announce the arrival of our pioneering Data Science Immersive at our Houston campus. Data Science is one of the fastest growing fields in tech and we’re excited to help train the next generation of data scientists, machine learning engineers, data analysts, and so much more. Our Data Science Immersive combines our rigorous curriculum, innovative Learn.co platform, and our commitment to our students to help you change things with confidence.
Over the course of 15 weeks, data science students will use real tools to solve actual problems in data science. Students will learn how to gather data, apply statistical analysis to answer questions with that data, and make their insights as actionable as possible. You’ll learn the fundamentals of programming concepts in Python and PHP, dive deep into statistics and linear modeling, and explore advanced machine learning concepts.
Houston joins our flagship Manhattan campus, Seattle, and Chicago in hosting an on-campus Data Science Immersive. Flatiron School also offers an Online Data Science Immersive for students.

Data science skills will only become more in-demand in the future as more companies will require qualified tech talent to clean, process, and analyze massive amounts of data. aa science jobs are projected to grow 19% between 2016 and 2026, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. That’s much faster than the average growth rate for all occupations (7%). Companies across all industries will need individuals trained to understand data. Those industries include oil and gas, aerospace, and healthcare, which Houston has in abundance.
