Flatiron School comes in two forms: Career Courses and Skills Courses. Career Courses are geared toward just that: Careers. Their curriculum and structure are tailored to helping those looking to reinvent themselves and their careers in tech. Skills Courses, on the other hand, are typically slower paced and focused on gaining a competitive advantage in your current field. Unsure about the best course for you? Since we opened our doors in 2012, over 1,000 students have joined us at our NYC coding school to learn to program and launch new careers as web developers. Start your career in coding or data science today.
Flatiron School has always brought passionate, experienced instructors and ambitious students together to achieve incredible outcomes, and now we’re bringing that same mission to data science, with our NYC Data Science Bootcamp. From Python to Machine Learning, our 15-week data science curriculum gives students the knowledge, skills, and experience they’ll need to become data scientists, and fully supports them along the way with our outcomes-driven career services team.
Launch your career as a software developer — online, on your schedule — with the guidance of our best-in-class education team and the support of a passionate student community.
Our career-change data science program that gives students the breadth and depth needed to become well-rounded data scientists and enter one of the tech industry’s most coveted sectors. This course can be taken as a full-time or part-time course, as well as self-paced.
“Skilling up” is one of the most important things someone can do to gain a competitive advantage and get ahead in their respective career. Our skills classes are part-time and specifically designed to help those already on a career track.
In this course you will learn the skills necessary to become a data scientist, like Python, SQL, regression analysis, data visualization, and multivariate analyses.
In our continuous effort to make education accessible, Flatiron School also powers the Access Labs Initiative, a new software engineering program from the innovators at WeWork. An option for those making less than $35,000 annually, students pay zero tuition upfront. After they’ve graduated and earned a new job, we work with them on a tuition payment plan that makes sense for them, based on their new salary.
“After four years of iteration, we’ve reimagined the coding bootcamp model to give Flatiron students an entirely holistic software engineering education – from programming to product to Computer Science. It’s about more than teaching a skill. Our goal is to prepare the tech talent of tomorrow for a lifelong career they’ll truly love.”
Our downtown Manhattan campus is the perfect springboard for a career in tech. Students are surrounded by instructors and colleagues who support and challenge them. Outside, students are minutes from some of the world’s top tech companies – and they’re hiring.
