There’s been a lot of anticipation for our Immersive Data Science Bootcamp to be offered across the country. First launched at our flagship Manhattan campus earlier this year, we’ve now expanded our data science bootcamp offerings to include an introductory course, a bootcamp prep course, and an immersive Online Data Science Bootcamp.
We’re excited to announce our Washington,D.C. campus will be home to the Immersive Data Science Bootcamp, joining our Manhattan and Seattle campuses. The Immersive Data Science Bootcamp will train students to start their career in data science. Our career-change data science bootcamp will include the same dedicated support and best-in-class curriculum.
Data scientist has been the “hottest job in America” since 2012 and it’s even hotter in 2018. There’s a skills gap because data science is a relatively young field and traditional educational avenues are only just catching up to this demand. That means there are many available data science jobs in D.C.
Flatiron School can help close this skill gap by training the next generation data scientists, big data engineers, and data analysts in just 15 weeks. You’ll learn the ins-and-outs of Python and SQL while developing the skills needed to build data visualizations and train models.
Students will have a dedicated career coach that’ll work with them throughout the job hunt toward the end of the Immersive Data Science Bootcamp. If you don’t find a job after working with our Career Services team after six months, we will refund your tuition. Read the full eligibility terms here.
Applications are now open for the Immersive Data Science Bootcamp. The part-time Intro to Data Science course begins Nov. 12, 2018. The first Immersive Data Science Bootcamp begins Jan. 28, 2019. Intro to Data Science ends before the start of the immersive bootcamp and tuition paid by students will be applied to career-change course.
We’re excited to announce a $2,500 inaugural scholarship for the first Immersive Data Science Bootcamp cohort. Open scholarships can be applied to the career-change data science bootcamp in Washington, D.C., but can’t be combined with the inaugural scholarship.
