At Flatiron School, a core mission of ours is to create a more inclusive, representative tech industry — And the best way to do that is by partnering with companies who share those values. That’s why we’re extremely excited to partner with Excella, an Agile technology firm founded in 2002, to renew the Excella Technology Scholarship – a full scholarship to our on-campus Software Engineering course at our Washington D.C. campus.

The scholarship will cover the full tuition cost of $15,000 and focuses on women and underrepresented minorities.

“Imagine a world where everyone believes they have access to a career in technology,” says Steve Cooper, Partner and Co-Founder of Excella. “For the second year in a row Excella is thrilled to provide a scholarship that promotes technology. We believe that the tech community must be more inclusive and we cannot wait to see the impact our scholars will make!
