Living in the Midwest, Sophia knew she wanted to switch careers but was, at first, unclear where to start. A classically trained violinist, she was curious about code, and after researching several bootcamps, she decided on our immersive online software engineering program. While it was challenging to learn remote, Sophia focused on the end goal: a new job, new career, new city.
Fast forward a few years later, and Sophia is now a software engineer at Stitch Fix and living in San Francisco. She enjoys the exciting fast-paced nature of working in a high-growth consumer start-up, as well as the community she's found at the women-led tech company. She's enjoying San Francisco's tech community and excited for the future. To learn more about our SF campus and programs check out our Career Karma page!
