At Flatiron School, our mission has always been to enable the pursuit of a better life through education. While we’ve built our curriculum to offer courses in software engineering and data science, our vision has never been limited to coding education. The careers of the future are rooted in creativity, and design has become a critical skill for many of today’s most in-demand jobs. As we continue to grow our mission, it’s important that we look for innovative ways to help more people access the skills they need to do what they love.With that, we’re thrilled to announce our acquisition of Designation, the world’s largest dedicated User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)digital design program.Founded in 2014, Designation has developed innovative course programming and helped hundreds of graduates find work as UI and UX designers at today’s top companies, including Facebook, Allstate, and Capital One. Now that digital designers are as in-demand as software engineers, Designation and Flatiron School are poised to help more people get the rigorous training and career development support needed to be successful in digital design.
