Let’s create your career strategy to land that first conversation or interview.

It is time to share your unique, authentic self with your target companies.

How will you share your brand with your target audience?

Of course, you can submit your resume and apply for roles in a traditional manner, but that is no longer the best way to get in front of a company.

The 2022, “Go To Market Strategy” will be a combination of any or all of the following — networking, creating and sharing content on social media, and building an online presence

Here are some tips on how to succeed on LinkedIn:

Join and participate in LinkedIn groups.

You can join up to 50 groups on LinkedIn. Join groups that are made up with people that share the same interests as you.  This is not only for networking for your next role, but you should also think longer term.

Build a LinkedIn presence by creating online relationships with your target audience.

Expand your network on a continuous basis. You can network and interact with people in your target audience by joining discords, slack channels, meetups, online networking groups, and in person industry events.  You can also send direct messages via e-mail and Linkedin.

Engage with your dream companies.

Follow your dream companies, share content from people in that industry and at those companies. Like their content, comment, and interaction.  The purpose is to get noticed and known for what you are able to offer.

Create and share content that is relevant to your target audience.

By creating content, you will begin to build your personal brand as an expert at what you do best. This is a great way for people to see how you could be a benefit to their organization.

Remember, the more clear you are on your personal brand, and the services that you can offer, the more grounded you will be in how you can add value to an organization.

Finally, be sure to emphasize your personal brand and what you have to offer in all of your communications with your target audience.
