Earn Up To $1,000!
Over the last 10 years, our alumni have been our greatest ambassadors. Now we’d like to reward you for it. If you refer a friend who successfully starts a Flatiron School program, you can earn up to $1,000.
How It Works
- Give your friend your email address.
- Your friend applies to Flatiron School and enters your email address in the “referral” field on the application form.
- If your friend meets our admissions criteria, they are admitted to Flatiron School.
- Your friend starts their Flatiron School program.
- You provide us with the required paperwork, including your mailing address and a W-9 form.
- Flatiron School sends you a check—$1,000 for full bootcamp referrals and $500 for Essentials, Foundations I, or Foundations II program referrals!
Details
- To be eligible for the referral reward, your friend must enter your email address on the application form.
- There is no limit on the number of referrals you can make or the number of rewards you can earn.
- Self-referrals or referrals who have already provided their contact information to Flatiron School are not eligible.
- Payments are issued two months after your friend starts their program.

Frequently Asked Questions
Referrals must specify your email address on the application form when they apply to a Flatiron School program. If your referral did not include your email address on their application form, and/or if that referral had already provided Flatiron School their contact information, you are not eligible for the up to $1,000 reward.
If all the program terms are met, you will receive a check within two months of your friend starting a Flatiron School program, as long as you provide all the necessary paperwork (your mailing address and a W-9 form). We’ll reach out to collect that information from you a few weeks before your friend starts a Flatiron School program.
