Posted by Flatiron School on January 27, 2026

When Flatiron School expands internationally, we do so through selective partnerships with organizations that bring deep regional credibility, execution capability, and a shared commitment to building real technical capacity inside institutions.

Today, we’re excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Taitan Global, a Saudi-based AI strategy and implementation firm. Through this exclusive partnership, Flatiron School and Taitan Global will accelerate workforce transformation across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by combining globally recognized programs with deep regional expertise.

This partnership introduces Flatiron School’s Work-Integrated Pathways to the Saudi market. This advanced education model is designed to move beyond traditional classroom-based instruction by integrating rigorous technical training directly into live organizational environments. Participants develop immediately deployable capabilities in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and data science, producing measurable impact from day one.

“For more than a decade, Flatiron School has focused on closing the gap between traditional education and the skills required by today’s most innovative organizations,” said Peter Barth, CEO of Flatiron School. “Partnering with Jason and the Taitan Global team allows us to bring our work-integrated AI training and talent development models to one of the world’s most strategically important markets. Together, we will help build a sustainable pipeline of AI-capable talent to support Saudi Arabia’s critical sectors.”

Taitan Global is led by CEO Jason Roos, who brings nearly a decade of executive leadership experience working across Saudi Arabia. His background spans senior roles in higher education, healthcare, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives across Silicon Valley and the Kingdom, including work with organizations such as Symantec, Stanford University’s Hospitals and Clinics, KAUST, and NEOM. This experience gives Taitan Global a unique perspective on translating global innovation into locally executable outcomes.

“The demand for AI-ready talent in Saudi Arabia has reached an inflection point,” said Roos. “Taitan Global is proud to serve as the bridge between Flatiron School’s world-class programs and the Kingdom’s ministries and enterprises. Our work-integrated approach ensures organizations do more than upskilling and begin operationalizing AI today. This partnership is about delivering capability today to support the Kingdom’s economic transformation.”

Initial offerings will focus on programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Engineering. These programs will leverage Flatiron School’s Backwards Design methodology to ensure curricula are tightly aligned to the real operational, regulatory, and workforce needs of Saudi organizations.

Why Flatiron Partners Regionally

Flatiron School’s international work is built on a simple principle: lasting impact requires regional trust and execution. While Flatiron brings global reputation, proven programs, and more than a decade of experience training technical talent at scale, regional partners bring the context, relationships, and operational insight necessary to deliver effectively on the ground.

Taitan Global brings extensive experience working with government ministries and large enterprises across Saudi Arabia on AI strategy and implementation. Their understanding of the local regulatory, organizational, and workforce landscape makes them a strong partner for delivering Flatiron-designed programs in a way that is both rigorous and locally relevant.

This partnership model, combining Flatiron’s educational foundation with high-quality regional execution, is core to how we approach international expansion.
