About This Event

We are commemorating Juneteenth with a pioneering symposium dedicated to unpacking the intricacies of Artificial Intelligence and its implications for marginalized communities. “Juneteenth for Algorithmic Liberation” is a platform where we’ll spotlight the prevalent issue of bias against underrepresented groups within AI systems, advocating fervently for Algorithmic Justice.

By cultivating a deeper comprehension of these challenges, we aim to catalyze collective efforts toward the creation of equitable, impartial, and just AI frameworks. Through the exchange of insights, fostering open discourse, and promoting community involvement, this event endeavors to embolden individuals to champion Algorithmic Justice within both technological and societal domains.

Come join us through this hands-on exploration, where attendees will learn and discuss the critical importance of inclusive data practices in mitigating bias within AI systems.

We look forward to seeing you there!
