Flatiron School is proud to announce the launch of a new campus in Chicago, our ninth campus and first location in the Midwest. Flatiron School is excited to join a thriving tech hub with a proud history of innovation.
“We’re excited to announce our first campus in the Midwest and join Chicago’s ever-growing tech community,” said Adam Enbar, CEO and co-founder at Flatiron School. “Home to so many established and growing companies, Chicago is an epicenter for top tech talent. Bringing our courses to Chicago means employers won’t have to look far to find the best and brightest talent.”
Flatiron School’s Chicago campus will be located at WeWork’s 515 N. State Street location. The campus will host our flagship Immersive Software Engineering Bootcamp and Immersive Data Science Bootcamp.
Both immersive bootcamps feature our money-back guarantee: Job-seeking graduates get a job offer in six months or they’re eligible for a full tuition refund (see details). Applications for both bootcamps are now open — software engineering begins in April 2019, and data science in June.
Flatiron’s Chicago campus is also our first integration with Designation’s industry-leading UX/UI curriculum since acquiring the design school in August. Visit Designation.io for more info about their Career Change design courses.
Throughout Chicago, startups and established Fortune 500s are all seeking tech talent.
“The tech scene in Chicago is huge. There are so many startups and it’s growing quickly,” said Aimee McGrenera, a Flatiron School alumni who worked in music and marketing before starting a career in code. “I’m excited to live here as a software engineer and be a part of the city’s amazing culture while immersing myself in a high growth industry.”
In as little as 15 weeks, change your career and join Chicago’s quickly growing software, data science, and design industries.
Flatiron will also host launch events and informational panels as part of the Chicago campus launch. All Flatiron School Meetups are open everyone in the city. We regularly feature code workshops, informative panels with industry leaders, and events promoting inclusivity in tech. We hope to see you at an event in Chicago soon!
