About This Event

Join us for the Hackonomics 2024 Showcase and Awards Ceremony! The culmination of Flatiron School’s cross-functional alumni hackathon is here, bringing together weeks of collaborative innovation and problem-solving.

Participants were challenged to work in teams to create Money Magnet, a financial planning application utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies. Now, with the judges’ scores tallied, we’re ready to announce the winners! We’re thrilled to share the remarkable work of the Hackonomics 2024 teams and celebrate their achievements.

Event Agenda

Introduction and Project Brief: An overview of the task and the incredible journey teams embarked on during Hackonomics 2024.

Keynote Speech: Before unveiling the projects, Dr. Shaina Race, Principal Data Scientist at Fidelity Investments, will share her expertise and insights on the intersection of technology and personal finance.

Money Magnet Showcase: The main event! Teams will virtually present their take on Money Magnet, showcasing their innovative solutions crafted during this cross-disciplinary hackathon.

Winners Announced: The moment we’ve all been waiting for! Discover which teams will be crowned the champions of Hackonomics 2024. Get ready for recognition and a celebration of the incredible achievements of our talented participants.
