Amazon Cybersecurity Analytics
Our Cybersecurity Analytics course prepares you for a career as a Tier 1 Security Analyst, Compliance Analyst or similar role.

Last Day Of Class: March 07, 2025
Peak Season Break
To accommodate Amazon Peak Season schedules, there will be a 10-week course break from November 11, 2024, to January 19, 2025. Classes will resume on January 20, 2025.
Weekly Time Commitment
Prior to being enrolled in the 29 week, Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Analytics program, students will be required to complete a prerequisite, titled Prework. This is ~20-40 hours of introductory material that covers Cybersecurity topics that will prepare you for the full 29 week program.
If enrolled into the 29 week Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Analytics program, students should expect to work ~15 hours per week to keep up with weekly assignments.
Location
The Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Analytics program takes place 100% online.
Live Instruction
Throughout the duration of the 29 week program, there will be three, two hour lectures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These are live, instructor-led, and virtual. If you cannot attend these live sessions, you will have access to lecture recordings.
Paying for the Course
The tuition for the Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Analytics program is fully covered by your education benefit from Amazon**, for all full-time and part-time, eligible associates. You will receive directions for how to submit payment requests during the admissions process, after you submit your application.
**Associates will be responsible for providing their own hardware for the program and ensuring that they have appropriate internet access.

Individual Career Coaching Sessions and Workshops
Throughout the program, students will attend workshops designed to get you ready for your post-program job search, led by the Flatiron School Career Services team. Past Career Services Workshops include Embracing Your Professional Tech Identity, Building Your LinkedIn and Online Brand, Networking for Success, Imposter Syndrome, and Building Your Technical Resume.
In addition to workshops, students will be partnered with a Career Coach, who will serve as your 1:1 career expert and guide to success. They will help you with everything from job search strategy, networking tips, resume reviews, interview prep support, and best practices for negotiating job offers and getting a strong start in your career journey.
Job Search Framework
In addition to Individual Career Coaching Sessions and Workshops, students in the Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Analytics program will get access to Flatiron School’s Career Prep curriculum. Access to our Career Prep curriculum means you will have access to hundreds of resources, specifically curated to help you succeed in your job search after the program concludes.
