Hire & Train For A Management Consulting Company
Challenge: A Fortune 100 management consulting company wanted to fill dozens of entry-level Cybersecurity roles with diverse talent and level out uneven onboarding ramp times.
Solution: Flatiron School developed a program to attract, recruit, and train talent. During the recruiting process, we drove over 11,000 applications, a subset of which proceeded to the admissions process which included an interview and technical talent assessment.
Result: Recommended applicants were passed to the company, which selected 30 (almost half of which were women) for a 10-week remote training that focused on developing foundational and intermediate Cybersecurity skills.
Onboarding For An Accounting Firm
Challenge: A Fortune 100 multinational accounting firm was struggling with onboarding ramp times on their Cybersecurity team due to varying levels of basic Cybersecurity skills. The company selected Flatiron School to onboard new hires, citing flexible delivery options.
Solution: Flatiron School developed a full-time, 40-hour foundational Cybersecurity program, delivered remotely. The program included lectures, community learning, assessments, daily office hours, and on-demand learning support.
Result: 95 learners have completed the program thus far, experiencing much-improved onboarding ramp times. A second cohort is scheduled for Q1 2023.
Retraining For Amazon
Challenge: Amazon Career Choice offers eligible Amazon employees the opportunity to pivot careers into higher-paying jobs through retraining. Amazon chose Flatiron School to retrain learners and help them find jobs in their new areas of study.
Solution: Flatiron School delivered a 32-week remote program to teach learners the foundational skills needed to land an entry-level job in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Cybersecurity. Learners attended the program 12 to 15 hours per week, allowing them to continue working during the program.

Upskilling For A Management Consulting Company
Challenge: A Fortune 100 management consulting company was experiencing a breakdown in communication between in-house Data Scientists and client-facing consultants. They sought to bridge the communication gap via short-form data literacy courses for their consultants.
Solution: Flatiron School created a one-week Data Science program, delivered in-person at two of the company’s headquarter offices for over 40 learners.
Result: The program, led by an instructor with years of experience as a Data Scientist, covered a variety of topics, including advanced Tableau, Python Data Science stack refresher, AI / machine learning, data security, advanced SQL, regression, and advanced visualization.
