We believe that anybody who wants to pursue a career in tech should be able to do so – regardless of how they identify, their background, or financial circumstances.
We offer three different scholarships – Access Scholarship, Merit Scholarship, and Women Take Tech – to support our students in their pursuit of a better life through education.
Scholarships
Flatiron School and its partners offer several scholarships — especially supporting diversity in tech — to make your career change a reality. See if you qualify for one of the scholarships below.
Access Scholarship
The Access Scholarship is awarded to students from underrepresented communities in order to create diversity.
Amounts awarded up to $2,000.
Merit Scholarship
The Flatiron School Merit Scholarship provides a tuition credit for students who show exceptional potential.

Women Take Tech
At Flatiron School, we work tirelessly to empower women in tech and break down obstacles to a new career.

Financing Options
We get a lot of questions about how our prospective students can pay for our courses, so we broke it down into the quick guide below. There are three ways you can pay*:
Make an initial deposit of $99, then pay for the remainder of the course in full before it starts. Once your course is paid in full, you’re all set!
Available only to those who qualify, you can apply for an educational loan through our financing partner — Climb. Students who qualify can get a loan for the tuition amount, minus deposit and scholarships.

Climb Loan Options
- Traditional: Make full monthly payments during the course and after graduation.
- Loan period: 60 months
- Monthly payments: As low as $388
- Interest Only: Make interest-only payments while a student, then transition to full payments after graduation.
- Loan period: 60 months
- Monthly payments: As low as $140 for the first 6 months, $422 for the next 54 months.
- Deferred: Make no payments for the first 6 months (interest will still accrue during this time).
- Loan period: 60 months
- Monthly payments: $0 during the first 6 months, as low as $459 for the next 54 months.
Also Available: Cost of Living Loans
Only available for students in the live or in-person programs.
We know there are other expenses besides tuition. That’s why Climb offers an additional Cost of Living loan — up to $7,500 in addition to the cost of course tuition. We get it — even if you’re reinventing your career, you’ll still need to buy groceries and pay bills.
