Your day at Flatiron School

Our full-time Cybersecurity Analytics program is in session 5 days per week for 12 weeks and follows a block schedule. We employ a unique instructional architecture that maximizes instructor interaction and lab exercises. Our lab times let you engage in hands-on learning on key topics during lecture portions of the class. Most classes will meet twice a week. Each class is a half-day in length with a lunch break between classes. Throughout the Flatiron School programs, you’ll progress through longer “foundational” courses concurrent with shorter, domain-specific topics.

Do I have to have experience (what do I need to know) before I apply for Flatiron School’s Cybersecurity Analytics program?

In reviewing your background, we will be looking for applicants with an interest in data and analytics.

What is cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity is the protection of computer systems from theft or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data. Our students are taught to be “ethical” hackers. They protect organizations against “threat actors” or bad hackers.

Can you tell me about the Cybersecurity Analytics program?

Our Cybersecurity Analytics program allows people with little to no technical experience to succeed in roles such as Threat Intel Analysts, SOC Analysts, Compliance Analysts, and Consultants.

Where can I attend Flatiron School's Cybersecurity Analytics immersive course?

Students can attend Flatiron School’s flagship Cybersecurity Analytics program at our Manhattan campus (11 Broadway), our London campus located in WeWork Finsbury Pavement (131 Finsbury Pavement), or our Washington, D.C. campus located at the WeWork at Metropolitan Square (1440 G St NW).

What is the schedule like?

Students are on campus for 12 weeks Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Our campus is open 24/7 to students, and we often find them working hard at all hours to finish homework and projects. Students do find it extremely difficult to have any other commitments during their studies such as a part-time job.
