“Education is one of the most powerful investments we can make in our future. It’s become increasingly clear that learning technical skills like coding will open the door to the most promising careers of tomorrow. We are thrilled to partner with WeWork to create a new path for passionate and determined people to launch their career in tech.”
Located inside WeWork’s dynamic Dumbo location, students are surrounded by instructors and colleagues who support and challenge them.
Students work in close proximity, allowing ideas to form through collaboration – and fast friendships to grow among classmates.
Students work like they’re on a real dev team, receiving industry-approved programming training from the best faculty in the business.
Our students challenge and energize one another. They push each other to do more, think bigger, and go further than they ever could on their own.
The best way to see what it’s like to be a Flatiron School student at Access Labs is to visit our Brooklyn campus. We host regular public meetups, lectures, and campus tours. Come join our community.
Ready to take the next step in your coding journey? Join us for our next On-Campus Beginner Study Session! This will be your opportunity to meet fellow coders learning online in the New York City area and dive into code together.
Submit a written application. Tell us about yourself and why you’re interested in the opportunity to transform your career. This is your opportunity to introduce yourself to the Admissions Committee so take your time to put your best foot forward. Length is not important, but care and thoughtfulness is.
2. Admissions Interview
Students who write a strong application will be invited to a first round interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. We look for strong applicants to demonstrate their passion and determination to complete the program.
3. Technical Review
Students who perform well in the admissions interview will be invited to a technical review. After writing and submitting a sample coding challenge on the Learn.co platform, you’ll join a live coding session with an instructor to discuss it and see how it can be improved. The technical review is the final step in the application process — you’ll receive an admissions decision within ten business days of your technical review.
