Are all the courses the same across campuses?

Each Flatiron School course uses identical course curriculum and structure regardless of location. For example, our Software Engineering curriculum and structure is the same in New York as it is in London.

Are there prerequisites to apply to Flatiron School?
  • While there are no prerequisites to apply to our courses and we welcome beginners, we recommend exploring our free Coding Bootcamp Prep. The Flatiron School blog is another great resource to familiarize yourself with careers in tech, learn more about our SE course, and hear from our alumni about their experiences.

  • The first step is to fill out a written application. Once submitted, you should hear back from our Admissions team on the next step within 2 business days.

  • If your application is chosen to move forward, you will be invited to schedule a video call with a member of the Admissions team to get to know you better.

  • Upon admission and enrollment, depending on the course, you will be sent instructions for how to access “pre-work.” Pre-work is a prerequisite to starting with your assigned cohort.
